Born and raised in San Antonio, TX, Joshua Horne received his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin where he studied horn performance under Patrick Hughes, and his master's degree in horn performance at Rice University under the tutelage of William VerMeulen. Joshua is proud to serve as co-principal horn of the Sarasota Orchestra in Sarasota, Florida and principal horn of the Charlottesville Opera Orchestra in Charlottesville, Virginia. He has also had the privilege of performing with professional ensembles such as the San Antonio Symphony, Houston Symphony, Charlotte Symphony, and the Britt Festival Orchestra.
