Soprano, Sydney Dardis, a native of Laguna Niguel, California, is a recent Master of Music graduate in Vocal Arts from The Juilliard School, where she studies with Darrell Babidge. Ms. Dardis also completed her undergraduate degree from The Juilliard School as well. During her time at The Juilliard School, Ms. Dardis has performed in roles such as Tytania from A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Flora from The Turn of the Screw; and covered roles such as Giannetta from L’elisir d’amore, Amore from L’Orfeo by Rossi, and Anna Reich from Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor. In Spring of 2023, Ms. Dardis was excited to perform as Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi at The Juilliard School. In 2023, Ms. Dardis was pleased to have been named a winner of the New York Regional District in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. In Summer 2022, Ms. Dardis was named a Gerdine Young Artist at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, where she performed as the Reporter in Harvey Milk and covered roles such as Frasquita in Carmen and 1st Spirit in The Magic Flute. Then, directly after, she returned to The Aspen Music Festival and School where she covered Zerlina in Don Giovanni and Nannetta in Falstaff.
