2026 Opera Resident Artists

The Lakes Area Music Festival Opera Resident Artist program provides singers at the beginning of their careers with mentorship and performance opportunities. They work one on one with our team of directors and coaches to hone their craft, while participating in productions and performances alongside our world-renowned roster of singers. Drawn from the top conservatories and training programs in the nation, this class of Resident Artists promises to bring new energy to LAMF programming and to secure the festival’s place in the future of classical music.

This summer you'll hear these rising stars featured in our Cabaret evenings in Nisswa, July 18, and Aitkin, July 19 and in this season's production of Bizet's opera Carmen on August 14 & 16.
