Longtime LAMF violinist and artistic advisor of baroque programming Chloe Fedor joins the Brainerd High School orchestras in a LAMF-sponsored residency. In the week leading up to this concert she and other guests will work with the students in workshops, sectionals, and rehearsals. Then at the Monday, November 11 concert they will join the student ensembles for two pieces in a culminating performance of music by Arcangelo Corelli and Antonio Vivaldi.
This is a Brainerd School District event. Concert tickets may be reserved online at the link provided, or will be available the evening of the performance (credit card only, no cash or checks). $8 adults / $6 students.
This year LAMF is expanding its educational offerings for the students of rural central Minnesota. Our new Director of Youth Education, Marc Harroo, started at the beginning of the school year and is providing private lessons, classroom support, and organizational planning. Alongside Chloe will lead the second violin section at this concert, with LAMF Artistic Director Scott Lykins leading the cello section, all joined by freqent LAMF guest Tami Morse at the harpsichord.
Come see LAMF's valuable education programming come to life!
