Minnesotan soprano Alexis Reed has been praised for singing with “gorgeous tone” and “dramatic conviction” (Cleveland Classical). Recent operatic roles include Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Léontine (L’amant Anonyme), Agnieska (She sees her lover in the light of morning), Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), Helena (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Nannetta (Falstaff), Lisette (La rondine), and Miss Jessel (The Turn of the Screw). In 2019, Reed made her professional debut in Cleveland Opera Theater’s La traviata, in which she “outdid herself in the final act as Annina” (Cleveland Classical). Reed holds degrees from McGill University, Oberlin Conservatory, and Oberlin College. She is thrilled to be performing in her home state this summer!
