Yejin Lee, Vocal Fellow

Yejin Lee, Soprano is described by Opera News as “robust coloratura Soprano..’and by Brooklyn Discovery as “ a quicksilver quality and her theatrical bravura was truly outstanding..” She finished Master’s degree at Manhattan School of Music, and currently studies for her Artist Diploma at Montclair State University. Operatic roles included Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Muchktar in Thumprint, Adele in Die Fledermaus, Oscar in Un Ballo in Maschera, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, and Donna Anna in Don Giovanni.

In 2019, she debuted at Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall. She sang the role of Adele in Die Fledermaus for Martina Arroyo Foundation for Young Artist Concert at WQXR, New York Public radio station. She is the 2021 Florida District Winner of Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and won the New York Lyric Opera Theater  competition, and was the Eastern regional 1st place winner of NATS Competition. This summer she will be portraying the role of Naiad from Ariadne auf Naxos at Lakes Area Music Festival.
