Violinist Sherri Zhang is an avid chamber musician, orchestral player and music educator. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance from the New England Conservatory and duel Master’s Degree in Violin Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy from the Cleveland Institute of Music. Sherri currently resides in Chicago, Il. She is a member of the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra and Sarasota Opera. She also regularly performs with Elgin Symphony, Milwaukee Symphony, Chicago Philharmonic, and other regional Chicagoland ensembles. Sherri is the second violinist of Kontras Quartet, a Chicago-based string quartet known for their commitment to time-honored classics, contemporary compositions and genre-bending collaborations.
