Nic Minetor is a professional lighting designer for opera, dance, theatre, and art museums. He serves as resident lighting designer for the Eastman Opera Theatre, and has lit many productions for the Finger Lakes Opera, Mercury Opera Rochester, the National Technical Institute for the Deaf, Blackfriars Theatre and the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester, NY. He is also the photographer for more than thirty travel and nature books for Rowman & Littlefield, the most recent of which are Hiking the Catskills and the soon to be released Backyard Birding and Butterfly Gardening. He is pleased to be lighting his first production for the Lakes Area Music Festival.
