Originally from Wisconsin, Meagan L. Seubert earned her Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire (2012) and her Graduate’s degree in Opera Performance from Oklahoma City University (2015), playing the roles of Blanche de la Force (Poulenc’s Dialogues of the Carmelites) and Emily Webb (Ned Rorem’s Our Town) while there. Meagan made her local MSP debut with AOT’s production of The Rape of Lucretia as Lucia in the spring of 2022. An ideal artist, Meagan is a frequent recitalist and has earned several awards, including the Encouragement Award at the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions – Wisconsin District (2011), Second Place in the Naftzger Young Artists Competition (2015), and Second Place in the Texoma Region Edward Baird Singer of the Year Competition (2014). Now that the pandemic has mostly passed, she is excited to be performing in the local area!
