Commended for her “lovely voice”, “charming presence” and “perfect comic timing”, San Francisco native soprano Léa Nayak leans on her multilingual and multicultural upbringing to bridge communities together through the beauty of classical voice. Léa is completing her master’s degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), where she performed leading roles such as Thérèse/Tirésias in Poulenc’s Les mamelles de Tirésias, Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro), Le feu (L’enfant et les sortilèges), and Belinda (Dido & Aeneas). Léa is proud to be an alumna of the Houston Grand Opera Young Artist Vocal Academy, the Chautauqua Opera Conservatory, and the Des Moines Metro Opera apprentice program, where she recently covered the title role and performed as the Blue Jay in The Cunning Little Vixen. Léa’s ambition has earned recognition from the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, the National Opera Association, and the CCM Corbet Scholarship Competition. Léa was proud to be named a semifinalist for the 2026 Houston Grand Opera Concert of Arias.
