Kristina Dudley is drawn to music as a mode of storytelling that reflects the full spectrum of life’s possibilities. When words fail to capture the overwhelming scale of human emotion, she knows that you only truly have one option: you just have to sing about it. Kristina is an emerging artist in the Twin Cities area. In addition to joining Lakes Area Music Festival this summer in the chorus of Don Pasquale, she is a contracted singer with the Minnesota Chorale, a performer with Twin Cities Opera on Tap, and a section leader at Grace-Trinity Community Church in Minneapolis. Her love for opera first blossomed as an inaugural member of Project Opera with the Minnesota Opera, and she is excited to return to the Minnesota Opera in the chorus of The Elixir of Love and La bohème for the 2023-24 season. Her primary teachers include W. Stephen Smith, Marcy Stonikas, and Geneva Eschweiler. She holds a Master of Music in Voice Performance from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Luther College.
