Isaac Santos, Composer

Isaac Santos (b.2000) is a composer of contemporary concert music from South Florida, based in Ohio. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Composition at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music(2023). Much of Isaac’s current output is informed by East Asian and impressionist visual art- in addition to nature and everyday life.

His teachers have included Stephen Hartke, Elizabeth Ogonek, Jesse Jones, Maria Grenfell, and Michael Frazier. Before coming to Oberlin, he studied privately for half a year with Andrew Boss while still living in Florida.
