Chloe J. Kim is a vocal coach based in Southeast Michigan. Most recently she was a principal member of the music staff at the North Carolina Opera, Portland Opera, Opera Delaware, and Sarasota Opera. She has also served as cover conductor for a variety of productions in the US such as Carmen, Aida, Gianni Schicchi, Our Town, and Verdi Requiem, after a year as full time principal coach for the Studio Artist Program at Florida Grand Opera. A specialist in French and Czech, Chloe was trained at Manhattan School of Music, SUNY Purchase, Sorbonne Université, École Normale de Musique de Paris, and the UK’s National Opera Studio, completing residencies with Scottish Opera, Welsh National Opera, Opera North, and ROH.
