Praised for his “finely focused and well-mannered” voice (Dallas Morning News), tenor Brian Wallin has “proved [to be] another gifted tenor…who took the stage with flair and commitment” (Opera Today). The 2021-2022 season includes appearances as Male Chorus in The Rape of Lucretia with An Opera Theatre, L’Abate de Chazeuil in Adriana Lecouvreur with Baltimore Concert Opera, and as Tamino in Die Zauberflöte with Opéra de Montréal.
Brian has previously appeared with Minnesota Orchestra (Salome), Minnesota Opera (The Fix), Opéra National de Bordeaux and Théâtre du Capitole (Candide), Fort Worth Opera (Carmen), The Shreveport Symphony (St. Matthew Passion), Lyric Opera of the North (St. John Passion), The Atlanta Ballet (Carmina Burana), as well as Young Artist appearances with The Glimmerglass Festival, Opera Saratoga, Palm Beach Opera, and Fort Worth Opera. He proudly received both his Bachelor and Master degrees from the University of Maryland and the Maryland Opera Studio.
