Allison Fahey of Sebastian, Florida recently completed her Master of Musical Arts degree at the Yale School of Music. During this season, Ms. Fahey performed the role of Baba the Turk in Stravinsky’s The Rake’s Progress, La Ciesca in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi with Yale Opera, and covered the role of Clarice in Prokofiev’s The Love for Three Oranges as an Apprentice Artist with Des Moines Metro Opera. Previously at Yale Opera, she performed the title role in Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia as well as Bradamante in Handel’s Alcina. She also sang in a variety of scenes including Angelina in Rossini’s La Cenerentola, Olga in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, and Isabella in Rossini’s L’italiana in Algeri. In addition to operatic works, she also has performed as the Alto Soloist in Handel’s Messiah with the Waterbury Symphony and as soloist for Beethoven’s Ninth with the Yale Symphony Orchestra. Allison holds a Master of Music from the Yale School of Music and a Bachelor of Music from Stetson University.
