Get away to the Northwoods and experience world-class performances with the Lakes Area Music Festival! The 13th annual season of LAMF will draw over 150 artists from the top orchestras and opera companies in the world. And now your attendance just got easier!
Each Sunday during our season, audiences from the Twin Cities can enjoy a day trip to the Lakes Area including:
- Coach bus transportation from door to door!
- Brunch at a Lakes Area restaurant
- A matinee LAMF performance at Brainerd’s brand new Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts
The bus will depart from the Woman’s Club of Minneapolis: 410 Oak Grove Street, Minneapolis. Attendees may use the Club’s parking lot.
8:45 a.m. – Board bus at the Woman’s Club of Minneapolis
9 a.m. – Bus departs for Brainerd
11:30 a.m. – Brunch
2 p.m. – Performance
4 or 5 p.m. (Opera) – Board the bus to return
6:30 or 7:30 p.m. (Opera) – Arrive back at the Woman’s Club of Minneapolis
Tickets are $65 per person, to cover the cost of the bus and brunch. A minimum of 20 passengers per trip will be necessary. In the event that a trip is cancelled due to fewer than 20 attendees registered, a refund for that program will be offered. In any other cases tickets are nonrefundable, but may be transferred to another guest.
In the best interest of everyone on board, if you are not vaccinated please wear a mask while riding the bus or indoors with others. If you are ill, please stay home and send someone in your place.
