In this opening session, LAMF Artistic Directors Scott and Taylor will discuss the major themes of the 2021 season: natural imagery and inspiration; our organizational re-grounding after a turbulent year; and the artist’s paradox of making something old compelling to a contemporary audiences, or creating new works in a medium laden with history.
