Known for his “lush and powerful baritone” (Arthur Dorman, TalkinBroadway, 2025), Phill Takemura Sears is a resident singer and librettist of the Twin Cities and is delighted to perform Morales! Phill is no stranger to LAMF, performing in Rake’s Progress (2024) and Don Pasquale (2023). He has worked with Theater Latté Da and Mixed Precipitation. Since 2018, Phill has performed with Minnesota Opera, having helped premiere new works like Puckett’s The Fix , Prestini’s Edward Tulane, and the upcoming world premiere of Sankaram’s The Many Deaths of Laila Starr.
