Brady Davison joins the Lakes Area Music Festival opera production team as Assistant Stage Manager for the 2025 season. After working as a stagehand and crew member in last year’s production, he is excited to step into a larger role this summer. A student at Brainerd High School, Brady has been passionate about performance from a young age, with a background that spans both onstage and backstage work. He has performed in numerous theatrical productions through Central Lakes College and other local companies, and has stage managed shows for Brainerd High School and CLCPA.
In addition to theater, Brady competes in speech, where he explores a variety of performance categories. He most recently placed 6th at the Minnesota state tournament and advanced to the national level, placing 32nd in Humorous Interpretation. These experiences have helped him develop a strong foundation in understanding backstage work from an acting point of view.
Though performing has always been a driving force, Brady has also found a deep appreciation for the leadership and collaboration required behind the scenes. His work backstage allows him to grow not only as a technician and team member, but also as an artist. Being part of the Lakes Area Music Festival, surrounded by such talented and dedicated professionals, continues to inspire him and shape his creative journey.
