Eashwar Mahadevan is a violinist from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He began playing the violin at the age of 5, studying with professors Yoram Youngerman and Eric Pritchard. Eashwar completed his undergraduate studies at the Peabody Conservatory under Herbert Greenberg where he received the Sidney Friedberg Prize in chamber music. He also received a Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University as part of their Double Degree program. Eashwar has performed in Carnegie Hall as part of the New York String Orchestra seminar, was concertmaster of the Peabody Symphony Orchestra, and has played with the Berkeley Symphony Orchestra. Currently, Eashwar lives in San Francisco as a freelance violinist.
