The Festival’s year round program bridging young musicians with world-class artists.
Festival musicians present performances, lead sectionals and master classes, and work individually with area youth, inspiring students of all ages!
Each summer, LAMF’s world-class musicians perform and interact with members of the community who would not otherwise be able to experience live classical music performances – places like area nursing homes, shelters, and the Crow Wing County Jail.

As we enter our second decade, we are committed to the continued expansion of our programs to support audiences and artists. This season we have established a new String Quartet Fellowship, inviting one emerging professional ensemble to join us in Minnesota for a paid summer of intensive rehearsal and performance opportunities.
Application information for our 2020 fellowship will be available Fall 2019.
