Samuel Baker, Tenor, is a graduate of Texas Christian University with a Bachelor's in Music Education, and the University of Minnesota with a Masters and Doctorate in Vocal Performance. He has performed with Minnesota Chorale, VocalEssence, and the Minnesota Opera Chorus, and has sung many character tenor roles, including Oronte in Alcina, Goro in Madame Butterfly, Basilio in The Marriage of Figaro, Prunier in La Rondine, Schoolmaster in The Cunning Little Vixen, Dr. Blind in Die Fledermaus, and Jack from Into the Woods. As a young 17-year-old in France, Samuel sang La Belle Hélène as part of the chorus, and he is thrilled to revisit Offenbach's masterpiece again.
